Same things

 

The same things in the movie and book for Summer Of The Monkeys were. The monkeys got in a train wreck.The monkeys were discovered in the bottoms.  Grandpa and Jay went to the library to learn about how to catch the monkeys. Jay gave the monkeys to the circus. Jay received money from the circus. Jay talked a lot about getting a pony. Daisy had a crippled leg in the book and movie. Daisy got money from Jay to fix her leg.  

 

   Different things

The things that were different in the book. The movie never showed grandma. The movie never showed when Jay got drunk or lost his britches. There was no Indian Tom. The pony they showed wasn't the correct pony. Jay never got a pony after he took it back. Never did show when Daisy and Mama went to town to fix Daisy leg. There was a old man in the forest that came out of nowhere. There was no Johnson brothers. The movie showed four monkeys. When nobody was watching Daisy she acted like her leg was alright. They called the fairy ring the angel ring instead. Grandpa wasn't really involved with jay. Henry wasn't the right name for

Jimbo.

 

Things to change in book and movie

Movie and book suggestions. If I didn't read the book for the movie I probably would have liked the movie better. For the movie add stuff from the book instead of just skipping over some parts and adding stuff that not even in the book.  For the book add Philp in from school. Maybe the author needs to add what happens at school before the summer starts to give more details
